While baseball card blogging is not on par with being a baseball player -- at least not yet...perhaps we should get together and form blogging Dodgeball leagues or something -- I am pleased to say that the voters for the Bip Award Rookie of the Year selected at A Cardboard Problem voted my blog as the Rookie of the Year.
I stole this image from The Starting Nine blog post here |
I'd have voted for him.
To everyone who voted for me, thank you for your votes and for reading.
To everyone who did not vote for me, well, I hope it's nothing personal!
One more thing: if I have promised you that I would send you cards and I have not done so, please leave me a comment below. I think I know the people that I said I would ship cards, but I never know for sure.
Thanks.
Congrats once again ! and yeah, Matt should've been in the poll for sure and he would've gotten my vote too.
ReplyDelete(and I seem to remember a Winfield with my name on it ! )
Thanks for the reminder, Kevin -- I knew I owed you a package, but I had lost track of what, exactly, I should put in it!
DeleteBetween you, Kevin, Matt, and so many others, a ton of great blogs popped up around the blogosphere in 2014. Congrats on winning the ROY!
ReplyDeleteNick, that is high praise coming from you. Thank you.
DeleteCongrats!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteI think you were gonna send me the last two '82 Topps cards I needed for my set but no worries!
ReplyDeleteYou are 100% correct about that. I think I looked at my cards that you need and did not think that they would meet the condition in which you would like them to be. But, let me look at them again.
DeleteThanks for the nice words Ton, but you were a deserving winner. Congrats!
ReplyDeleteThanks for not being in the competition, Matt!
DeleteCongrats on the award!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Billy!
DeleteCongrats on winning BROY!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteCongrats on the win. I'm with you and would've voted for Bob Walk too if he was nominated
ReplyDeleteYeah, no question about it. I definitely would have as well.
DeleteCongrats Tony. A job well done
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mark. I appreciate it.
