I think they'd like to get that part done by somewhere in mid-to-late September or in October to have the GM in place for the winter meetings in December with a good grasp on what their next steps will be (which, in my opinion, should include trading Adam Lind, Matt Garza, possibly Jean Segura, possibly Jonathan Lucroy, probably Khris Davis, possibly Ryan Braun...at least).

I've been looking for cards on COMC lately and stocking up there. But I've been tending toward Yount more so than Braun or Lucroy. I'll have to set up some searches on eBay.Tony L.https://www.blogger.com/profile/01349226671097456632noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6581749200282165841.post-46537533161722038762015-08-25T09:29:59.832-04:002015-08-25T09:29:59.832-04:00The system definitely improved with the additions ...The system definitely improved with the additions made in the trading of Parra, Gomez, and Fiers (in particular). The talent at Double-A is pretty impressive -- particularly Orlando Arcia. Also, Gilbert Lara is looking like a legit prospect already at the age of 18.

I'm hopeful that this will mean that the 2017 Brewers will be back in contention again. 2016 might be a bit of a lost year, though, for the big league team.

And please, I'd be fine with getting the first overall pick one of these two years. We could use the talent.Tony L.https://www.blogger.com/profile/01349226671097456632noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6581749200282165841.post-40785614855163622632015-08-25T09:27:26.299-04:002015-08-25T09:27:26.299-04:00Thanks again! Thanks again!Tony L.https://www.blogger.com/profile/01349226671097456632noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6581749200282165841.post-27313290736698032752015-08-25T08:10:55.156-04:002015-08-25T08:10:55.156-04:00The Brewers did a good job with that Carlos Gomez ...The Brewers did a good job with that Carlos Gomez trade. Any good rumors on the next GM?

From my experience this always made card buying easier. I'm sure prices are down on guys like Braun and Lucroy. Might be a good time to fill holes in your collection. When the Pirates collapsed in 2011 and 2012 I went on a binge picking up cards. Hopefully they do get the first overall pick next year (no offense) so they get a prospect people will actually focus on since he's the first overall selection.Zippy Zappyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06695389359056056119noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6581749200282165841.post-27471601102159358232015-08-24T22:24:03.549-04:002015-08-24T22:24:03.549-04:00Glad you like the cards and that I could take your...Glad you like the cards and that I could take your mind off the current Brewers team for a while!defgavhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15338984361942309651noreply@blogger.com
